Tenor Tito Beltrán goes on trial this Friday. Interestingly this article says that the singer performs regularly at San Francisco Opera, and I don't remember him at all. As it happens, I have heard him, at one of the six performances of L'Elisir d'Amore at SF Opera in 2000, as Nemorino. He also sang seven performances in 1997 as Rodolfo in La Bohème, three performances in 1997 as the Duke of Mantua in Rigoletto, and four performances in 1999 as Edgardo in Lucia di Lammermoor.
