Biography

California native Charlise Tiee attends San Francisco Opera performances as much as possible, and usually in standing room. Her favorite operas are by Mozart, though she is also known to be fond of Händel, Gluck, and Monteverdi. Occasionally, Ms. Tiee strays to operas in Seattle, Los Angeles, and Munich. Whilst not at the opera, Charlise paints pastries, dances in a Classical Persian troupe, and works at the search engine Ask.com.

The Opera Tattler started in 2006 as an extension and archive of the performance reviews Charlise wrote in her livejournal from 2001-2006. Their tone is meant to be humorous, and primarily for a young non-opera going audience.
